Ep.9 – Follow the Signs with Sue Stevenson from Uturn Anxiety

From frustrated moments of feeling stuck, powerless, institutionalised, stifled and forced to teach what was not relevant for the students and not in alignment with her passions and mission. Sue began to start taking note of the many signs around her. Some of these signs were also feelings, such as:

  • ‘I don’t fit in anymore!’
  • Boredom, flat and disinterested.
  • Questioning everything.

 

These signs that indicated to Sue that she was off kilter. So she started to really tune in and listen to herself. Now Sue, has found her ‘calling’ and she is so darn good at it too.

Meet Sue Stevenson, a seasoned educator and leader in the field of education, with a wealth of experience in teaching, student management, and promoting student well-being. Sue is now the founder of Uturn Anxiety and helps children to be able to live their best possible life and breakfree from anxiety that is holding them back.

Sue has had a fulfilling career as well as the joys of raising her own family and embracing the role of a grandparent to six grandchildren, Sue has witnessed firsthand the intricacies of childhood behavior.
